Living on Incline | Andrew Warrick
Oct 13, 2026
Andrew Warrick knows what it means to ask “Why do bad things happen to good people?” Not as a theological exercise—but because he has lived it.
In this episode of Living on Incline, Andrew sits down with John Eklund to tell the story of the wounds that shaped his life, the moment he hit rock bottom, his journey into recovery, surrendering his life to Christ, and ultimately facing a loss he never could have prepared for: the death of his wife.
After doctors discovered that his wife had suffered permanent brain damage and was not expected to recover, Andrew was forced into one of the most painful conversations imaginable—asking his wife whether she wanted to enter hospice. She later passed away on July 22, 2024.
But Andrew’s story didn’t begin there.
At 17 years old, he came home to discover his mother had moved out while his father was away. The moving truck was literally pulling away as Andrew arrived. That experience of rejection and abandonment would follow him into adulthood, relationships, marriage, and his understanding of himself.
